“This brief account of PLAYBACK's beginnings is sufficient to indicate a philosophy of inclusion which radically transcends rhetoric. Its proactive inclusion of children and young people with disabilities, and its creativity in finding ways to enable their voices to be heard, has been an underpinning dynamic in all its engagements. The educational and staff training resources which it has produced, together with its related training and other support services have been clearly the product of rigorous and on-going action-research”.
